Zombies Infest Red Mango Today in the Rim Rock Shopping Center

Today we will be broadcasting live from Red Mango in the Rim Rock Shopping Center from 4-7p.m. Were looking to get people signed up to become zombies for The Last Run of Your Life.

The Last Run of Your Life is a Zombie infested 5k where you will run for your life and try to protect your brains. You will be given Caution Flags that will represent your health. If you lose all your flags you will not be eligible for prizes but your time will still be recorded.

The Last Run of Your Life benefits the Grant a Wish Program, which gives youth here in the Grand Valley life skills through various parks n rec activities. Every Christmas the public nominates kids who are in need of gifts around Christmas time. Instead of giving them toys or clothes, we hook them up with guitar lessons, karate lessons, soccer leagues, basketball leagues, swimming lessons, etc. Every Christmas more kids are nominated than we can help. So this year we are raising funds early with the Last Run of Your Life.

To become a runner or a zombie you can get signed up at kekbfm.com on our events tab. Also, we will be doing registration today at Red Mango from 4-7p.m. If you don't have a computer or a debit/credit card, this is your chance to get signed up.

Also, our professional make-up artist, Michael, will be on hand so you can team up with him to get zombiefied for the event. Michael has done some zombie work with other runs and events and is good at making you look infected.
