Are You Prepared For the Zombie Apocalypse

The Mayans say to be prepared for the world to end in December and many companies are profiting by getting you prepared for a Zombie Apocalypse!

By now you've probably heard about "The Last Run Of Your Life" our Zombie infested 5k October 27th to benefit the Grant A Wish program.

We promise to make sure you're ready for the Armageddon with this fun run!

But apparently we're not the only ones jumping on this end of the world band wagon! Security company's will be learning how to combat the undead at their annual counter-terrorism summit in San Diego.

According to the The Military Times The HALO Corporation will be taking over the 44-acre Paradise Point resort for a week in October to stage realistic scenarios including a class covering the "Zombie Apocalypse".

It has been modeled after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC's) tongue-in-cheek zombie survival memo.

The president of the corporation says participants are, "going to see a lot of stuff go down,"  and he vows the zombie scenario will help emergency responders in real-life emergencies, "deal with extreme medical situations when people can become 'crazed and violent,' triggering widespread panic."
