Waylon Wishes ‘Firefly’ Star Nathan Fillion a Very Unhappy Birthday

I personally believe Nathan Fillion to be one of the best actors of all time. His portrayal of Captain Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds on the short lived series "Firefly" was nothing short of perfect. Unfortunately, I just learned something about him I don't like, so I'm forced to wish him an UNHAPPY birthday.

I already have a problem with this guy due to the fact that he has had the luxury, no, the blessing, of working with the incredible Morena Baccarin, and I haven't. I've never even met her. So he's already on my list for that. To see why, look immediately below.

Secondly, there is an all new reason to have a problem with this man. I've just realized, right here on his birthday, that he is a year younger than me. FOUL! That's impossible. Okay, maybe it's impossible, but it's not very cool.

How dare he be younger than me. I can't possibly look up to someone if they're younger than me. He is almost exactly 11 months younger than I am.

To think, all this time, I've found Nathan Fillion to be convincing in his role as a leader and commander. Now, with this new discovery, I can no longer look up to the man and his role. He's just a kid! William Shatner I can respect. He's 83. Nathan Fillion, not so much.

I wish you an UNHAPPY birthday, Pee Wee, Junior, Kiddo, or whatever new name you wish to accept.
