Earlier today the crane operating crews raised the giant American flag at Lincoln Park in preparation for this year's Pork and Hops Challenge. Ray, being quick to spring into action, whipped out his camera and caught some awesome footage.

Every year, the Pork and Hops Challenge features the gigantic flag at the front gates of the festival grounds. We literally pulled up to the gates just as they began to raise the flag.

This operation requires several operators. Keep in mind, the American flag can never touch the ground. Consider the effort, skill, and coordination it takes to get this enormous flag in the air.

Kudos to you, the workers who fly the flag high above the festival. Your fine work is greatly appreciated.
