Skydiving Planes Collide Over Wisconsin Everyone Survives

Two planes carrying skydivers collided over Superior, Wis. Saturday (November 2) with one plane bursting into flames. Luckily, all nine skydivers and both pilots survived.

What was suppose to be a well-timed acrobatic flight turned into a jump for life.

Two Cessna planes were attempting a jump called a tracking dive, where the lead jumper is followed by the others, when the two planes collided.

Just as the skydivers were staging to jump, the first plane seems to fly right on top of the other plane. All jumpers were able to make it out of the horrific stunt alive and the pilot of the burning plane escaped with only scrapes and bruises.

Miraculously, the second plane that went into a nose dive pulled up to land the plane safely.
