Holiday traveling can be a drag if you're not prepared, check out these expert tips!

It doesn't matter if your traveling with kids or just adults, there are a few things we recommend taking on your trip.

MUST have items:

  1. Snacks
  2. Drinks
  3. Toys
  4. Games
  5. Sense of Adventure

Top road trip games:

  1. The Alphabet game: Start with A first person to find it gets a point, then you move on to the next letter, etc. etc. (depending on where you're traveling this could take 15 minutes or DAYS)
  2. Slug Bug-I never liked a game where you got to hurt the other person but . . .
  3. License Plate game: Keep track of all the states you see license plates from (this can be an ongoing game you play from trip to trip because your sure not to see them all on one drive)
  4. I Spy-(this could be a downer if you're traveling through the dessert with nothing to see)
  5. Name that Tune-hum a few bars or sing a few lyrics and see if your fellow travel companions can guess the song!

My Favorite thing to do on long trips:

I also recommend taking the "Blue Roads" if possible and time allows, you never know what you might see!
