Newborns Ashes Stolen by Purse Snatcher

Police in Alabama were searching for a purse snatcher that had "inadvertently" stolen the ashes of a newborn baby!

According to authorities the criminal got away with the infants ashes, after snatching a purse from the baby's mother.

A spokesperson said that she was carrying the cremated remains of her son when she was knocked down by a man who took her handbag and ran.

Sadly, the child had only lived a few of hours after he was born, his mother was carrying his ashes in her purse so they could bury him the following morning.

We all know crime doesn't pay and purse snatching is one thing, but I wouldn't be surprised if the robber also gets charged with gross abuse or desecration of a corpse* & that's why he gets our "Nincompoop in The News"!
