This is NOT a clown sighting alert. This is just one guy's thoughts.

Now, far be it for anyone to take my advice on anything. I'm hardly qualified to operate an electric razor, albeit speak on a social issue. However, as an American, I have a right to an opinion. I think.

Maybe if we stop talking about the clowns there won't be anymore clowns?

There are no links to clown sighting stories here. No blurry video of possible footage, no mention of any places that have been in the news. Just an idea.

Personally, this clown thing has gotten WAY out of hand. So, who's to blame? Honestly, I would not be surprised if this whole ridiculous predicament was started with 3 friends sitting in a dark basement with a huge ass bong saying to themselves, 'Hey man, I wonder what we can do to scare the sh*t out of people and become part of an Urban Legend story?' 'Hey, why not scary clowns?'

The problem is partially our fault as people in a society, along with the media to help perpetuate this trend along. I wasn't happy when our radio stations posted about the clown sightings, but guess what? It was by FAR the biggest reaching, most shared and most responded to post in the past month or so by ten fold.

The problem is we give these things attention and then more people are going to do them because we give these things that type of attention. It's a vicious cycle.
