Did you ever ride the Tilt-A-Whirl at Guyton's Fun Junction in Grand Junction? Do you remember the sign indicating the ride had been featured in a movie? What movie was it?

Put simply, no. As a matter of fact, it was filmed just about everywhere but Grand Junction. According to Wikipedia, the movie was shot on sound stages at Twentieth Century Fox in California and on location at various places in Texas. Shooting also took place at Mooney's Grove Park in Visalia, California, and at the Oklahoma State Fair Raceway in Oklahoma City.

I miss Guyton's Fun Junction. I used to terrorize the place frequently back in the 1970s. I'd ride the Tilt-A-Whirl all the time with my mom and brother. I can remember going out of my way to read the sign each time.
