How Many ROBO Calls Do You Get In A Day?
Every morning around the same time I get about 3 robocalls in a row. A robocall is a phone call that uses a computerized autodialer to dial a number. You can also report the robocalls to the FCC.
These scammers usually try to get my credit card information or tell me that I have won the Publishers Clearing House. Obvisiojulsy if I had won Publishers Clearinghouse they would be at my door. Don't fall for it and just hang up on them. You are not being rude and they are probably used to it. You can register your numbers on the national Do Not Call list at no cost by calling1-888-382-1222 (voice) or 1-866-290-4236 (TTY).
Officials say there is another big scam on the rise they let it ring once or twice then hang up and then when you call back you get charged a big fee because it is long distance. Don't call back. The name of this scam according to the FCC is "One Ring".
