Colorado’s ‘Red Flag’ Law Passes the Senate
The Colorado Senate passed what's become known as the 'red flag' law today, it now moves to the House.
The Extreme Risk Protections Orders passed the Senate today with 18 in favor and 17 opposed moving it to the Colorado House. If the bill passes the house, it will go to Governor Polis to be signed into law.
Many Colorado sheriffs stated they will not support the law, including Mesa and Montrose counties.
