Colorado Parks and Wildlife are warning residents that bear activity is ramping up across the front range.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife send out a series of tweets showing a number of bear sightings and warning residents that "human behavior gets bears killed." In the first tweet, they show a broken window of a Green Mountain Falls home where a bear attempted to enter the residence. CPW goes on to note that the home has a "bird feeder in the yard", indicating that things like bird feeders can lure bears in.

Earlier this week, we told you about a bear that was shot and killed in a campground after charging a camper and his dog.

As always, but now more than ever keep garbage cans locked up, bird feeders put away and be BEAR AWARE. Find out how to live with bears safely HERE.
