We have talked a lot about Marijuana ever since Amendment 64 passed in Colorado. The majority of the voting community voted this into law in November. Recently, we had a listener tell us that he doesn't like being called a "Pot Head" because it's derogatory.

What would you have me call you? I could call you a User, but I usually save that for people who have an addiction to Meth, Crack or some other hardcore drug. I could call you a stoner since that's what they have been calling you since the 70's. That and a Burnout, but that doesn't sound very nice either.

Most of my friends and I don't consider being called a "Pothead" offensive in any way. You could argue that the people who are medical marijuana smokers and not recreational marijuana smokers might not like to be called a "Pothead". How many people do you know that have never smoked marijuana until they got their medical card? Have we forgotten that most of society has smoked marijuana at least once, and that there is a significant rise in middle aged pot smokers?

Sense when did pot smokers get so sensitive and start worrying about what other people called them. I thought smoking weed was suppose to calm the nerves and make you a more laid back person. Our listener thinks we should call them 'Tokers' or 'Partakers.'  So what are your thoughts.
