It doesn't matter that the Commodore Vic 20 is over 30 years obsolete, you have to get one for the kids for Christmas this year. Why, you ask? Because William Shatner says so.

The Vic 20 was the coolest thing ever when it came out. It was relatively cheap for the time, did some computing, and played some pretty cool games. Furthermore, it had William Shatner as its spokesperson.

Keep in mind, just a few years before this commercial was made, Shatner was still living in his car. No doubt he was as delighted to get this gig pimping the Vic 20 as kids were to get one for Christmas.

If Shatner has ever proven anything, it is his career is as perennial as the trees. With this in mind, it only makes sense you should acquire this timeless piece of technology and give it to the kids this Christmas. Atari had great success with the Atari Flashback a few years ago, and it was even more dated than this thing.
