Lucy Lawless, the statuesque figure on your television stomping out evil CG characters via shows like "Xena" and "Spartacus," has won a place in the hearts of many via both her acting and her activism. For many of us, she will forever be, both on screen and off, our warrior princess.

What's so great about Lucy Lawless you ask? Well, for starters, she's hot. Obviously, that's not profound or anything. However, in her case, she's really hot. Secondly, she practices what she preaches. She stares in the face of danger and says "ha!" She was recently sentenced, though be it a slight slap on the wrist, for perching herself on board the oil-drilling ship "Noble Discoverer" during a 2012 Greenpeace protest. In what other ways has she been a role model and leader in the fight against danger and injustice?

River rafter/adventurer Bob Sours uses a Xena action figure as the bowsprit for his dory, the "Andrea Dory." While the "Andrea Dory" hardly compares to the Arctic oil-drilling ship "Noble Discoverer," at least insofar as raw tonnage, it too has its stories of adventure and conquest. To date, Xena has guided the Andrea Dory down the Snake and Colorado River.

In addition to her Greenpeace activities, Lawless also serves a member of the board of trustees of the StarShip Foundation, the charity arm of the Starship Children's Health, a dedicated pediatric healthcare service and teaching center.

Oh, and for the record, even Lucy Lawless admits she sees Xena and Gabrielle's relationship as being lesbian lovers, another reason why she will always be our warrior princess.
