Who’s Closed On Labor Day

For Mesa County residents, Labor Day brings about many area closures. Thanks to this story from KKCO to help inform us.

CLOSED:

Commissioners, Treasurer, Assessor & Surveyor Office
Administration & Resource Management Office
Attorney's Office
Clerk & Recorder -Motor Vehicle Offices
District Attorney Office
Grand Valley Transit
Health & Human Services
All Mesa Country Landfills
Public Works & Planning
Regional Transportation Planning Office
Resource Management
Sheriff's Office - Records & Civil Divisions
Workforce Center

Also, all non-emergency offices in Mesa County, Palisade, Fruita and Grand Junction are going to be closed.

There will also be a one day delay on Grand Junction and Fruita garbage pick up for that week.

On the flip side, the story goes on to mention that Palisade wineries and orchards will be open and that Palisade will host their Sunday's Farmer's Market.
