Because of the stay-at-home order put into place this morning beginning at 6:00 a.m. for the entire state of Colorado by Governor Jared Polis citizens are asking the questions which businesses are defined as essential and which are not. If you want to read the full in-depth report by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, you can read that here.

If you're not exactly sure what a stay-at-home order is it's a request for all residents to stay indoors except for essential activities, which include buying food or seeking medical treatment. While the order doesn't completely mean you cannot leave your home if you do please leave at least six feet between you and anyone around you.

While the stay at home policy is in place there has to be some exceptions to the rule and we wanted to help clear up what is essential and what is not as we have learned from the Mesa County Sheriffs Office.
