What Would Happen If Social Media Didn’t Exist In Grand Junction?

It's crazy to think that social media wasn't even a thought or something to talk about 20+  years ago.

Now there are all kinds of social media avenues, we have Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Dating sites, and the list goes on and on.

I must be honest that there are times I love being on social media and I'm not just saying that because it's my job. Some things I read and see crack me up.

It's entertaining for sure. Like taking pictures of my food. I used to think that was stupid but now I'm like that phrase, "if you can't beat them, join them."

It's part of the times but what would we do if we didn't have social media anymore, what would happen?

What would happen if you asked a teenager, "If social media didn't exist what would happen?" Many teens would most likely say the world was ending. When we asked Grand Junction that question on Facebook, this is how they responded.

Most comments had something to with us learning how to communicate with one another again:

We'd be happier, right?

We would be more kind to one another ...

But hey ... can we find a happy balance through all this and find some laughter like Shea Michael Bramer and Jeanette Lafayette, or are we all just doomed from here on out?

Not talking, playing, and forever socially ruined?
