We announced yesterday the United States Postal Service is issuing the Johnny Cash postage stamp in the near future, and intends to make two more Country Music celebrity stamps available this year. Which two Country Music stars deserve to be immortalized with their own postage stamp? Vote in our online survey.First, we need to establish the criteria. Does a commemorative stamp imply that the person being honored is being done so posthumously? Would their "postal worthiness" be determined by album sales? Longevity in the business? Character? Contributions to mankind? Ability to sing on pitch?

Once we've established the criteria and narrowed the field down to just  two celebrities, how do we go about determining the image to be used? When they issued the Elvis stamp back in 1993, people were able to vote between an image of young, handsome Elvis singing into a microphone, and old, bloated, white jumpsuit Elvis singing into a microphone.

Here it is 20 years later, and we're faced with a similar dilemma. If the U.S. Postal Service came out with a Willie Nelson stamp, would it be young Willie in a three-piece suite and groomed hair, or present day Willie with yesterday's lunch still in his beard and a pair of overalls that should have been put to sleep eight years and 30 cancelled shows ago?

Since we have to start somewhere, cast your vote, or do a write-in vote, for the two Country stars that should receive their own postage stamp in 2013.
