This week in the Country Shootout we will feature Outlaw country artists like Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams Jr. and David Allan Coe. All of these artists are incredible and it might be a hard task voting for just one. Today Waylon Jennings goes up against Johnny Cash.

Johnny Cash is known as one of the most influential musicians of the 20th Century. Even though he is known mainly as a country musician, early in his career he sang rock n roll, rockabilly, blues, folk and gospel. His wide range of musical talent got him into the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Johnny Cash has 17 #1 hits and numerous Top 10 hits.
