Vintage Guyton’s Fun Junction News Story – When The Park Closed
A quick trip down memory lane. Fun Junction officially closed September 6, 1999. Here's a News Channel 5 story with Bob Guyton and some residents' reactions. What a sad day.
We all know the story of how it all started with a miniature golf course in 1954 with Bob Guyton and his wife Maebeth. It grew into six acres of memories for generations of visitors for more than 40 years.

Where else could you THAT much fun and have that many things to see and do for a 50 cent cover? People came from all over to enjoy this awesome place. From Denver to Salt Lake City to Moab. Guyton's Fun Junction was a destination.
Can you drive past 29 Road and North Avenue without shedding a tear? Can you still see it? All the rides and the games. How about the smells? Or the sounds?
