There Is An App For Colorado State Trails And It’s Free

If you plan on exploring this summer in Colorado's wilderness and checking out Colorado's 40,000 miles of trails you will need the COTREX. The  Colorado Trail Explorer App. Officials from the Colorado Parks and Wildlife and the Colorado Department of Natural Resources have just released a free app called the COTREX.

Download the maps ahead of your scheduled departure if think you might be out of cell range. The new app features thousands of maps and even a couple of challenges. Like the "Litter Cleanup Challenge and Waterfalls of Rocky Moutain National Park Challenge. You can complete the challenges to earn badges. The free app also features trip suggestions as well as hikes.
