Are You Still Texting While Driving In Grand Junction?

Yes people are still texting while driving I passed by someone the other day and they were texting away on the smartphone going about 50 miles an hour. Don't do it if you are distracted even for one second that could mean a car accident.

According to the Colorado  Department of Transportation distracted driving is anything that takes your mind off the road.You could be texting, talking to your children maybe a pet running around in your car or even conversing with another indivudial in your car.

I use to text and drive or call someone and talk on the phone but I am much more aware now because it just takes a second your eyes off the road for a person to walk in front of you or a car trying to pass you. Also what I have found useful is the " Do Not Disturb" feature on my smartphone it automatically detects when the car is moving and sends a message the person who called or texted you.
