Mesa County Libraries seek your input regarding the proposed new library for Clifton/Fruitvalle. You're invited to attend a number of community forums coming up later this month.

You are asked to attend three upcoming community forums to discuss the proposed library. The new library would replace the existing Clifton Branch.

Three community forums are planned. Why so many? Mesa County Libraries would like to ensure the greatest number of people will be able to attend one. Forums will take place at the Clifton Branch Library at 590 32 Road.

The three forums will be held on:

● 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24

● 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25

● 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26

These forums are open to the public. Feedback will help to determine services and features in the proposed new library.

This is an important opportunity for the communities in the east valley to talk to us about what they’d like to see in a new library. The best libraries strongly reflect their local communities, and we want to make sure that we are providing the services that the communities want and need most.” - Mesa County Libraries Director Michelle Boisvenue-Fox
Mesa County Libraries plan to conduct a public naming contest for the new library later in 2019. What's the timeline for construction? The Grand Opening is targeted for 2021.
