In case you're like me and have no idea what the Honey Boo Boo craze is all about, according to Wikipedia it's a reality TV show that debuted last August and is a spin off "Toddlers and Tiaras" centered around one contestant and her family.

Some say the show is controversial with one reviewer for Forbes criticizing TLC as trying to "portray Alana's family as a horde of lice-picking, lard-eating, nose-thumbing hooligans south of the Mason–Dixon line", stating that "it falls flat, because there’s no true dysfunction here, save for the beauty pageant stuff."
