It used to be rednecks were thought to exist only in certain parts of the country, namely the south. The truth is, rednecks exist everywhere, including Colorado. Here are the top 10 places in the state where a redneck can feel right at home.

First, let's define exactly what a redneck is so you'll understand why these towns are so attractive to them. The Miriam-Webster Dictionary defines a redneck as;

 A white person who lives in a small town or in the country... who typically has a working-class job, and who is seen by others as being uneducated and having opinions and attitudes that are offensive."

Personally, while there are some rednecks who are offensive, my experience with Colorado rednecks differs greatly from that part of the definition.

Some of the things that make parts of Colorado so appealing to rednecks is we have plenty of open space, great hunting, fishing, beer, great smokes (both tobacco and wacky weed) and owning a gun is practically a requirement.

To be honest, there are so many redneck towns around the state - and I mean that in a good way - I had to use some research done by RoadSnacks to make this at least partly scientific and narrow down the list. My own personal experience and observation are also used to describe why these are the most redneck towns in Colorado.
