Palisade Colorado Named Coolest City In America

The website Onlyinyourstate.com has named Palisade the 'Coolest City In America.'

Break open the champagne and let's celebrate. Well, actually if we are talking Palisade, we should be celebrating with some of its great wines.

That was just one of the many reasons Annie, a write for onlyinyourstate.com has selected the western Slope's very own Palisade as 'The Coolest City In America.' Now, it's not a legal proclamation, just one writer's opinion. But, it is still pretty cool to get some love here on the Western Slope.

Several reasons are listed in the article including the wineries and breweries, the scenery and landscape, the quaint downtown feel and look, all the unique places to stay and of course the peaches and other assorted fruits.

That sums it up nicely, doesn't it? Again, congratulations to Palisade.
