Lego Jurassic World Trailer: Life Found a Way
Hold onto your blocks and don't go into the long grass, because TT Games is taking us back to John Hammond's dino-DNA-splicing amusement park in Lego Jurassic World.
TT Games has posted the debut trailer for Lego Jurassic World, taking us back in time to the '90s, when animatronics weren't just something used to creep us out in a haunted pizza shop. Lego Jurassic World will take us through the events of Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III and Jurassic World. That's right — we're going through all four movies in Lego block form. You'll be able to relieve the wonder of the ill-fated tour Dr. Alan Grant and the Hammond children took back in 1993, and the ill-fated sequels that followed (here's to hoping the fourth movie makes up for the blunders of the third).
Despite the ancient ferocity of dinosaurs and the terrors they can inspire in their modern prey, TT Games is taking the whimsical route in regards to retelling these beloved tales of survival. Our favorite scene of the trailer would have to be where Muldoon gets outsmarted by the Velociraptor. Instead of being tricked by its footprints, the raptor gets Muldoon in a more hilarious way. We can't wait to see the bathroom scene of the first movie redone in Legos.
Be ready to take a tour of the oldest park on the block when Lego Jurassic World launches for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS this June, likely by the 12th in order to coincide with the release of the franchise's fourth movie.
