Popular Bartender at Rockslide in Grand Junction Has Son With Cancer
No juvenile should ever have to experience cancer, it’s not fun, and it’s not fair. Unfortunately, life isn’t fair sometimes and we have to deal with very difficult circumstances. That is exactly what one of our favorite bartenders in Grand Junction is having to deal with right now. Fawn Frasier has worked at the Rockslide Brewery for 11+ years now and when not working she is spending time with her two boys, and now one of those boys (16 –year-old Traver) is fighting a Leukemia diagnosis.
As if the pandemic and lost hours at work weren’t enough to deal with after this past year but now this, right now we need to show our support and help out a tough lady who is doing the best she can to take care of her sons.
More Details Regarding Traver a Grand Junction Teen Now Battling Cancer
Traver is like most teenagers, a good kid, a member of the Grand Junction high school football team who was really looking forward to next season and playing in the spring and summer practices. Traver plays the Center position which is vital to protecting the Quarterback and the player who snaps the ball to begin each play.
The Money Donated to Help Traver Will Go Toward What?
Traver will have Chemotherapy for the next 2-3 years, lots of medical bills and travel expenses will continue to grow which is why the fundraiser was started. Even if you aren’t in a position to donate money at this time please keep this family in your prayers.
It was just a couple of years ago that I was truly worried about losing my brother to Leukemia but he is now cancer-free thanks to amazing doctors and staying positive throughout his treatments. Remember that each day we get on earth is a blessing and don’t take any day for granted.
