Locals know you can’t GJ all day without visiting Graff Dairy on 29 Road. When Darin Carei put the business up for sale back in March, we all wondered what would happen next to this Western Colorado favorite.

Jordan and Maddison Burge officially took ownership on Sept. 1, 2026. They’ve made some exciting announcements about their plans for the business that might have us all showing up in the drive-thru on our way to work and on the way home.

In a story from the Grand Junction Business Times, Jordan and Maddison Burge remember visiting Graff Dairy themselves back in the day, and their goal is to update the business icon without losing all the feels. The nostalgic experience is part of what brings us all back, so they’ll keep the look we all know. The menu, on the other hand, will be introducing something new.

Coffee, Kiosks and a Question for Grand Junction

One of the biggest changes will be coffee, with the Burges planning earlier 7 a.m. openings along with coffee, refreshers, and other Red Bull-infused drinks. Self-ordering kiosks and new screens are also coming, although customers will still be able to order from employees. Graff Dairy is busy asking Grand Junction what other new items you would like to see on their menu. The store’s Facebook page is a great place to offer your feedback.

If you are wondering what previous owner Darin Carei will be up to, he still owns the real estate. The new owners will focus on taking the business forward to its next chapter. As mentioned, Graff wants to keep the vintage cars and the experience that has helped make Graff Dairy a Grand Junction favorite.
