The Colorado Department of Transportation closed a portion of Colorado Hwy 133 near the Paonia Reservoir this (Oct. 19) morning after a rock slide completely blocked two lanes.

The highway is closed in both directions between mile markers 23.5 and 36.5. Traffic is being diverted at the Collbran turn-off and Kebler Pass.

CDOT crews are currently working to downsize the boulders to clear the roadway. There is no estimated reopening time.
