Words to live by can come from some pretty unlikely sources.

Maybe they aren't even words to live by, but just words that impact each of us individually and stick with us. It could be from a book, or a movie, or a TV show, maybe even a television commercial.

Here's a phrase that has stuck with me for decades. "I can't believe I ate the whole thing." Remember that one from the Alka Seltzer commercial in the 70s? Here's another one from a movie that has stuck with me through the  years "there's no place like home."  That, of course, coming from Dorothy at the end of the Wizard of Oz.

It's interesting to see what sticks with different people. Sometimes it's words of wisdom and at other times it's something that simply sticks in our brains. I asked our Facebook followers the question "What's something a fictional character said that stuck with you?" Lots of people said "I'll be back."  Here are some others.

These words from unlikely sources can make us smile or laugh, maybe reflect and ponder, or sometimes inspire us and challenge us. Sometimes those words do none of the above. They just stick in our brains.
