Whether it's a classic like White Christmas or a comedy like Elf, Christmas movies make the holiday season feel truly special.

But which movie does America really prefer?

In order to answer this question, ClickCupid analyzed Google data from 2017 to 2019 to determine the top Christmas movies in every state.

Some states changed their choices throughout the years, but Coloradans remained steadfast. Without a doubt, the favorite Christmas movie of the Centennial State is...drumroll please...Die Hard.

What?! I would argue that Die Hard isn't even a Christmas movie, but apparently I am wrong. In 2019, Alaska, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, and Wyoming also favored the action flick for the holidays.

Other 2019 contenders included A Christmas Story, Carol, White Christmas, Elf, and Little Women. Love Actually and Home Alone made the list in previous years.

Honestly, I'm a little disappointed in the entire country. Where's It's a Wonderful LifeNational Lampoon's Christmas Vacation? Those old Christmas specials that are always starring Mickey Rooney?

But who am I to judge? If Die Hard is your favorite Christmas movie, I hope you thoroughly enjoy all that Bruce Willis has to offer this season.
