Grand Junction’s Best Place to Celebrate National Hamburger Month
Did you know the month of May is National Hamburger Month? Where's the best place in Grand Junction to celebrate?
We've conducted this survey a number of times over the years. Let's revisit the results from our last poll.
The Word on the Street
For years people kept telling me the best burger in Junction could be found at Wrigley Field. With that information, I thought it wise to try them out. People weren't lying. That was a an excellent hamburger.
Our Most Recent Survey
Not long ago we went to Facebook and asked the question, "Where can you get the best burger in Grand Junction?"
This highly unscientific study, employing almost nothing in the way of empirical research, produced a vast array of results.
You Can Probably Guess the Number One Response
It comes as no surprise the number one reply was, "My house." We knew that was coming. Kudos to those of you who can prepare an excellent hamburger. I am not one of you. I'm not a foodie, so my grilling expertise is limited to throwing a frozen hamburger patty in my air-fryer and calling it good.
The Rest of the Lineup
Coming in second place in our survey was Bin 707. Immediately following was Munchies in Fruita.
The remaining businesses receiving the most votes include:
- Applebee's
- Freddie's
- Red Robin
- Texas Roadhouse
- Main Street Diner
- Boston's
- Rockslide
- Blue Moon
- Wrigley Field
Well, there you go. You could pretty much draw a name out of a hat. At the end of the day, a hamburger is kind of like an episode of Star Trek - even when it's bad, it's still pretty good.
