Grand Junction Man Arrested for Alledegly Breaking Childs Ribs and Legs
Andrew Herne of Grand Junction was arrested Monday on child abuse charges for allegedly breaking his girlfriends child's legs and ribs.
Andrew Herne, 23, was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on one count of child abuse, a class 3 felony. He is being held on a $60,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on September 30 at 8 am.
The three-month-old baby was found with various injuries in August by an emergency room physician in August. Those injuries included broken ribs and legs that were not from accidental trauma.
