Fake Lotto Winner Fools Everyone On Facebook

Nolan Daniels posted a photo on Facebook last week that showed him with a winning lotto ticket. He posted “Looks like I won’t be going to work EVER!!!! Share this photo and I will give a random person 1 million dollars!” Is he really going to give someone a million dollars? Did he really win the lotto?

The answer to both of those questions is NO. Daniels was able to photo shop a picture of him with a lotto ticket to make Facebookers believe he had won and was going to share his wealth. The photo went viral across Facebook. Apparently, we all thought this man was as generous as he said and that we might be the lucky person he gives a million dollars.

Over 2 million people liked and shared Daniels photo. This photo is obviously photo shopped because on Powerball tickets the numbers are always in chronological order. In the photo they are obviously not. But Daniels was able to get his prank in front of millions of people and for that he gets a whopping zero dollars.
