Powerball Now At 750 Million

No one hit Saturday nights jackpot so now the Powerball lottery is up to 750 million.

Remember if you do win the Powerball a big chunk of change will be going to the Federal Government for tax, and don't forget about state taxes too. When the lottery gets this big I always go out and buy a ticket. I may even buy two this time. Why not?

So if you did win and decided to take a lump sum you would pay your tax of 24 percent. Which would be about 91.3 million but hey you would still take home around 289 million.

Have you ever known anyone to win the lottery? My cousin won the lottery by buying a $20 scratch-off ticket. She won a million dollars. I really don't know what she did with all that money but I would be happy spending it. What would you do if you won that amount of cash? I have heard some people choose to stay out of the spotlight for fear everyone would want to borrow money.
