Even in the world of 15-minute show-business marriages, some artists, such as Arlo Guthrie and his wife of 43-years Jackie, who died Sunday, honor their vow of "till death do we part." Here is a short list of stars who stuck it out to the very end.

Johnny Cash and June Carter made it work for 35 years, with the two dying only 4 months apart. It wasn't the first marriage for either, but it was the last. Radio stations around the country enjoy playing "Jackson" on March 1st, the anniversary of Johnny and June's wedding.

One of the most famous Country marriages would have to be Lorretta and Oliver "Mooney" or sometimes "Doo" Lynn. Of course, in their case, the ups and downs of their marriage was documented for all the world to see with Coal Miner's Daughter. Their union lasted until his death in 1996.

Not making out list would be Lorrie Morgan, currently on marriage number six, and Willie Nelson. In his defense, Willie mentions in his book, "The Tao of Willie," that his first marriage might have worked, had it not been for his wife's violent tendencies, including her repeated efforts to run him over with their car.
