Colorado Top Five Happy State

A recent poll revealed Colorado as a 'Top Five Happiest State.'

The Gallup-Healthways survey unveiled their list of the happiest states in the country.

5) Colorado
4) Maine
3) South Dakota
2) Alaska
1) Hawaii

This is the sixth number one finish for the Aloha state. A good friend of mine lives there and by the pictures and the stories I see and hear, it's difficult to argue with that selection. I am confused about South Dakota. I lived there and it was miserable. Maybe it was just me?

More than 177,000 U.S. citizens from all 50 states were polled last year. They were asked questions on subjects such as financial stability, community involvement, social activity and physical well-being.
