A 79-year-old man lost $10,000 while skiing in Aspen, What happened afterward is mindblowing and truly speaks to the character of Coloradans.

The 79-year-old man is in the process of moving to Snowmass Mountain in Aspen from Florida. Although he is a physician, I'm wondering what he's doing with all that cash money just like you are.

The man was staying in the St. Moritz Lodge until he could move into his condo in Snowmass. He had $10,000 in cash in a money belt because he felt better having it on his person versus leaving it in his hotel room, according to the Aspen Times.

His money belt was found under the Ajax Express lift by a ski-instructor -- who didn't even open the belt. He just thought someone would miss it and gave it to a lift operator.

The skier said that:

I've never been anywhere where the people are so nice

This is probably why he's moving to Colorado. Incidents like this truly show how good people can be, and how there seems to be an abundance of them in Colorado. Colorado always finds a way shows its good-hearted self.
