Breckenridge

I am certainly doing my share of whining about the cold and snow in Colorado, but this might be the best thing about the snow. The International Snow Sculpture Championships event  is just a month away in Breckenridge, Colorado. If there were an award for best winter event in Colorado this would be the grand prize winner.

Breckenridge will be opening Peak 6 for the first time during the 2013/14 ski season, and they're looking for some help naming the new runs. You could be part of Breckenridge history ... if you're creative enough.

The Winter X Games 2013 is coming up  next week and all of the athletes are getting pumped up for the games. I talked with Gus Kenworthy earlier this week and he was up in Breckenridge getting prepared for the games. I also talked with Keri Herman this week and she was also up in Breckenridge preparing for the Winter X Games 2013...
