Audiences are saddened to learn of the death of actress Sarah Marshall, who passed away January 18th at the age of 80. Star Trek fans will remember Marshall as the actress who portrayed Captain Kirk's long lost love, Dr. Janet Wallace, in the episode "The Deadly Years."

According to Startrek.com, Marshall's other credits include appearances on F Troop, The Fugitive, Get Smart, Three's Company, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, and the Twilight Zone. She was nominated for the Tony Award for her appearance in "Charlie."

Marshall was married to fellow Star Trek alum Karl Held for more than 50 years. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Marshall is survived by her husband, as well as a son Timothy and four grand children.
