Celebrated Actor James Avery’s Amazing and Incognito Appearance on ‘Star Trek’

Chances are you saw the episode, but probably never realized it was "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" actor James Avery playing the ferocious Klingon General K'Vagh on Star Trek: Enterprise.

Avery is almost unrecognizable under the latex and makeup. Regardless, that is James Avery, the actor we all remember as the tough but loveable Uncle Phil on Fresh Prince. However, in this case, he's playing a tough and not-so-lovable Klingon General.

Avery appeared in the role twice with the episodes "Affliction" and "Divergence."

Avery passed away on New Years Eve at the age of 68 (with some sources stating the age of 65.)
