Do you think Grand Junction should have its own Community Center? If so, you are invited to a potluck dinner where you can ask questions and raise concerns with a group of people that would like to see a community center built in Grand Junction.

You are invited to join People for Local Activities and Community Enrichment (PLACE), who is working, along with the with Western Colorado Congress of Mesa County, to get a new community center built.

PLACE will provide food and drinks, but please feel free to bring something to share. The potluck dinner will be held at Hawthorne Park on Thursday, June 9th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The park is located between 4th and 5th Streets, just 3 blocks south of North Avenue.

They are looking for your feedback and note any questions you may have about the idea of a community center in Grand Junction. PLACE wants you to find out what they are working on to make this happen.
