Today is “National Pie Day.” No, seriously, today is “National Pie Day.” If you had to narrow it down to just one, which variety would you consider the world’s most awesome pie?
The average Joe might consider the world’s best pie to be that one you buy in the freezer section at the grocery store for around $4. You know, the French Silk one with the three inches of whip cream on top, and chocolate shavings to boot. That’s the pie that only weighs about a pound and a half, but somehow manages to increase your body weight by about five pounds.
According to Mrs. Smith’s official “pie chart”, America’s favorite pies, counting down from last to first, are as follows:
