Deputy Geer Scholarship

The Western Colorado Peace Officers Academy has created a scholarship in memory of Deputy Derek Geer.

With support from Geer's family, they are creating this scholarship to help students who share the same passion for Law Enforcement that Geer did. Their goal this semester is to raise $5,000 for the scholarship.

They are hosting a fundraiser at Chic-Fil-A on May 5 from 5-7pm. This is just one of the ways they are raising money for the scholarship.
