I always wanted to adopt a road, but apparently it can be hazardous to your health! Find out why here!

I recently became an ad hoc member of the Colorado Geocaching Board -- don't ask, I have no idea what it means.

What I do know is, I now get an EXTRA 20 to 30 emails a day from these folks asking approval for art work, organizing events and hosting activities. They must have more time on their hands than I do.

Recently I received a welcome letter form the Adopt A Road Program Coordinator for the El Paso County Public Services Department which I think is in Colorado Springs. Apparently we've adopted a road.

It says in short, "thanks for keeping El Paso County clean", but then at the bottom there's a WARNING about Meth Lab waste!!

Thanks for For your safety, I have included a pamphlet regarding Meth Lab waste.  Waste from these labs has become more frequent and can be deadly.

Holy cow! Who knew keep our roads clean was so dangerous!
