12 Days of Christmas Cost an Outrageous Amount

How much would you spend, if you could spend-wait that sounds like the start to a bad woodchuck joke . . .Did you know the cost of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" has risen 6.15 over last year!

That's right! The cost to buy all 364 gifts repeated in the Christmas carol "The Twelve Days of Christmas" is now $107,300!

Thanks to the financial services company PNC Wealth Management we now know how the answer to this very pointless question.

More facts we don't need to know:

1. The partridge is the cheapest item at $15
2. The swans are the most expensive at $1,000 each, up 11 percent, because the 2011 drought led to an increase in feed costs
3. Big price increases were seen for the geese which were up 29.6%
4. The prices of some of the items stayed the same: the maids a-milking; the ladies dancing & the lords a-leaping. Why? Because with the economy no one has gotten a raise in years!
