Every year the American Farm Bureau Fedration estimates the cost of a Thanksgiving Dinner with all the trimmings. How much do you think it's gonna cost this year?

Here's some good news to gobble up: A classic Thanksgiving dinner will only cost your family a few more pennies this year!

According to the AFBF it should cost around $49.48 to feed 10 people turkey with all the trimmings.

That's only up 28 cents, or 3% from last year's average which ain't bad! Rising costs are attributed to turkey prices.

Don't forget the Salvation Army is hosting their Annual Thanksgiving Dinner:

When: Thursday 11/22

Where: Elks Lodge at 249 S 4th St in Grand Junction

They need over 1,200 Turkeys to make this happen and put together Christmas food boxes for families in need!

We'll have a parking lot of free family fun for your family with the Grand Junction Roller Girls, the National Guard, the Western Slope Harley Owners Group-siging people up for the Toy Run & Cotten Candy from Willy Wanna Jump!
