You Don’t Have Far To Go For Grand Junction’s Own Comic Con

The Mesa County Central Library is hosting the Grand Junction Comic Con 2016 on Saturday, October 8th at the corner of 5th and Grand Avenue. 

If you have always wanted to attend a comic con event, but were not able to travel for it, here is your chance to enjoy the experience with others right here.  The Mesa Country Central Library will become Comic Con central on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This is the second year for the local Comic Can event. Over 1600 people that attended last year. Every comic or sci-fi genre is welcome, including; Harry Potter, Star Wars, Star Trek, Anime, Dr. Who and Walking Dead. This is your chance to show off your cosplay skills with others.

This event is open to everyone at no charge, and you are encouraged to dress as your favorite comic characters. For a full schedule of events, visit the Mesa County Libraries website.
